Later she got her certificate in Special Education from Tarleton University. They were a part of Melwood and then came to Southside as the two churches merged into one congregation. Patty recently retired after a 40 year career as an educator, 35 of those years in Special Education. She served as the Children’s Minister at Southside from 2003-2011 and returned to the position in 2016 . Patty and Gary have 2 grown children, Racheal who is married to Billy Davidson, and James married to Amanda. Spending time with her grandsons, Jackson and Lincoln, is one the highlights of her life. She enjoys crafting, reading, and scrapbooking along with the recently acquired pastime of adult coloring.

Hello Southside! I’m Nicole Tracy and I would like to finally introduce myself as Southside’s Accounting Bookkeeper. I have been here for just over a year now and I have met some amazing people through this church and have created some lifelong friendships. Three years ago, my family and I moved to Brownwood from a small town in the center of Kansas called Great Bend, where the river bends. I have three very active kiddos who are involved in just about every sport you can imagine! My twin boys- Jack and Logan- are now Freshman in High School. They play everything from Football to Tennis and are very active in watersports. My little girl- Ella- is eight years old and she loves to do competitive dance, cheer, and gymnastics. My husband of 15 years- Justin, works for Superior Essex as an electronics technician, which is the reason why we ended up here in Brownwood. My family enjoys spending time on the lake, watching family movies, playing Uno, and visiting our families. A fun fact about me is that I hiked across the Grand Canyon- TWICE!
